Actually, I just made a forum for the Grey Griffins fanbase. The URL is http://greygriffins.freeforums.org
There’s a discussion space, a place to post writing or art, and a roleplaying forum.
Wait, so i’m confused, what do you mean send along?
okay here’s the thing i am a struggling writer at least when it comes to books, short story’s or trying to create a chapter book. It’s like I have an idea and either it’s too big or I focus too long on the intro or the character and fail to ever get it completed. I don’t know why I’m doing this but I need to break out of this cage I put my writing in and start writing like I did when I was writing lyrics with no fear of running into road blocks.. Problem is when I do write I run into road blocks I ask myself questions and can’t seem to find an answer for them so it stays unfinished. I’ve always loved fiction and I try to use movies and old television shows for inspiration problem is I keep having the same almost story’s happen and nothing gets done. If you have any ideas Id love to hear em. Other than that I’m a busy college student looking for work and if you ever want to stop by at a college Lewis and Clark community college in Illinois is a good one a friend of mine Jennifer Ward spoke there in my children’s literature class. I haven’t talked to you guys in a long time love the books the way you write about a character and their journey gives me chills…so brilliant. Anyway email me when ya can.
Writers block is tough. I understand. It’s even worse if you stress out about it. The best solution for most of us is to get away from the book for a while and do something you like, entirely unrelated to the book. Then ideas start to pop up. Other folks try sleeping/dreaming their way to new ideas. That has worked for me from time to time. But I frequently find the best and most expedient is to sit down across from another bright person and bounce ideas off of them, get into a heated discussion, then all sorts of things start to come together.
